  • Why do you design on Squarespace instead of other platforms?

    I exclusively design on Squarespace for these five reasons:

    1. User-friendly interface
    2. Built-in security + SEO
    3. All-in-one web platform
    4. Highly customizable design options
    5. Affordable for any budget

  • Are there additional costs for a new website design?

    Yes. Here’s what to keep in mind:

    Domain Name: If you don’t already own one, you’ll need to purchase it (I recommend using Squarespace – around $20).

    Website Hosting: Squarespace hosting plans start at approximately $18/month.

    Stock Images: Some images are free, but custom or premium imagery may come with an additional cost.

    Copywriting: Website copy isn’t included in our packages, but if you need it, I can provide a quote to add it to your project.

  • How involved do I need to be in the design process?

    It’s entirely up to you! You can choose:

    Hands-On: Collaborate closely and provide feedback every step of the way.

    Selective Input: Share your vision and key preferences, then let me run with it.

    Laid-Back: Trust me to handle it all and review the final design when it’s ready.

  • Do I need a domain name before we start working together?

    Nope! You don’t need a domain before we begin. I can help you choose one and get it set up through Squarespace. If you already have a domain, then we can transfer it to Squarespace before we launch.

  • Who owns the website once it’s complete?

    You do! Once the site is finished, I hand over full ownership to you, along with a tutorial on how to manage it. With Squarespace, you’ll have control without needing a web admin. It’s designed to be user-friendly, so you can update and maintain your site with confidence.

  • I see that you're a "Squarespace Circle Member" – what does that mean?

    Per the Squarespace team:

    “Squarespace Circle is a program designed to support, inspire, and engage the community of creatives, developers, and designers who use Squarespace to build beautiful websites for themselves and their clients.”
